Community Matters is committed to robust accreditation of its VISIBLE Standard.

Once you have reached the stage where you feel ready for accreditation please apply to the VISIBLE Standards team.

You will be asked to send us:

  • copies of your indicator sheets but NOT the evidence
  • A set of required documents
  • A signed form requesting accreditation
  • Payment of the accreditation fee

 

The current cost of accreditation is:

£1650 + VAT for non members

£1500 + VAT for Community Matters Members

£1400 +VAT for organisations from a Local Licensed Agent. 

Organisations outside of Greater London can apply for support towards the costs of accreditation through the Lankelly Chase Bursary.

The five main steps of accreditation are:

i) desk based initial assessment

If the assessor has any initial concerns and it is clear that your organisation is not ready       for accreditation, the assessors can recommend that you are withdrawn from the accreditation process to do more activity with the workbook.

If you withdraw at this stage Community Matters will make a refund of:

£1050 + VAT for the full fee

£900 + VAT for members  

£800 + VAT for organisations supported by LLA

ii) day long inspection visit

iii) assessors report

iv) verification

v) award
